Christmas Mini Sessions

I am so looking forward to our time together this Sunday for the Christmas Mini Sessions! Whether you are a new client, or someone that I see regularly, I’m SO grateful you are here.

I have some information that I'd like to share with you, please make sure you read it all the way through and let me know if you have any questions!

The Christmas Mini Sessions are taking place at Al Sabo Land Preserve in Texas Corners. Once you park, it is just a short, easy walk to the photo location! I would suggest leaving 3-5 minutes for this walk, depending on the speed of your crew.

The ground is overall pretty flat, so if you are in the stage of life that a stroller/wagon comes with you wherever you go, you shouldn’t have an issue bringing that with you!

This is the view from the parking lot. There’s a path to the left and the right of the sign - you will be taking the trail to the right!

What do I wear??

One of the hardest things about getting pictures taken is figuring out what to wear! Figuring out color palettes, patterns, whether you’re going for a cozy, casual or dressed up vibe - there’s so much that goes into the decisions.

I’d love to help take some of the stress out of this part of the process! In my What to Wear Guide (link below), you’ll find many tips and tricks regarding color palettes based on skin tones, patterns, and some random things I have learned in the past 13 years in the industry! These are just tips, though - please wear what makes you feel your best and the most like yourself.

A 10 minute session will go very quickly, so it’s important that you are there at least 5 minutes early, ready to go! There are sessions booked before and after yours, so if you are five minutes late to your session time, I’ll only be able to give you 5 minutes worth of shooting time, which is something I really don’t want to do! If you’re there a few minutes early, and I’m able to start your session a little earlier, we’re able to shoot for a few extra minutes! If you are not going to be able to be on time, please let me know as soon as you can so I can be prepared.

I will be posting a sneak peek on social media within 48 hours of your session, so make sure you are following my page so I can tag you and you can see it right away!

Please make sure you are ready to start at the beginning of your session time! We don’t want to waste our precious short time together getting sweatshirts off, fixing hair, cleaning faces, etc.

Once your gallery is complete, it will be sent via email to the email address provided at the time of booking. This is a password protected online gallery with an option to download to your desktop using the download pin provided. Along with the edited digital images, you will also receive a copyright print release, which you may be asked for if you do any printing. Not everywhere requires this, but I provide it just in case they do! I guarantee the gallery to be delivered to you by midnight on December 2nd.

If you have young children, please feel free to bring a favorite stuffed animal or toy with you! If we need assistance in getting their attention, sometimes their favorite thing from home can help with making them feel more comfortable. I do have a little bunny friend that sits on my camera lens to help grab their attention too, so if you want to go hard on the bunny themes this week in preparation, go for it. :)

Once sessions start at 9:15, I will have very limited access to my phone but will do my best to check it between sessions.
