Fall Mini Sessions

I’m SO excited to spend some time with you this Saturday for your Fall Mini Session!

Whether you’re brand new here or one of my wonderful repeat clients, I’m truly grateful you’ve chosen to let me photograph your people. Below is everything you need to know to make your session smooth, easy and full of cozy fall vibes.

📍 Asylum Lake Preserve — Parkview Entrance
(Typing “Asylum Lake Preserve Parkview” into maps will bring you right to it!)

There are two entrances to the preserve — make sure you’re using the Parkview Avenue entrance, not the Drake Road one. Parking is free, but the lot is small and can fill up quickly, especially on nice fall days. Be prepared to get a little creative with your parking if it’s busy (consider it part of the adventure 😉).

Please plan to arrive about 5 minutes early so you’re parked, ready, and relaxed when your session time begins — minis run back-to-back, so starting right on time helps everything flow smoothly.

Once you’re parked, follow the signs to find us — I’ll be nearby, camera in hand, ready to make some autumn magic with you!

📍 Fall Into Place

🍁 Sweater Weather, Camera Ready

Asylum Lake in autumn means golden light, cozy textures, and alllll the warm tones. To play nicely with the fall scenery, I suggest:

  • Neutrals, rich earth tones, or muted jewel tones — think cream, tan, rust, olive, mustard, navy, or plum

  • Layers that add texture and movement — sweaters, cardigans, flannels, denim, or knits

  • Avoid anything too bright, neon, or with bold logos that might pull focus from the season’s natural palette

📸 Session Details

Each Fall Mini includes:
🍂 15-minute session
🍂 10 fully edited, high-resolution images
🍂 Online gallery delivered within 2 weeks
🍂 Signed Copyright Print Release

You’ll receive an online gallery of your images to view. The 10 included images are hand-selected and fully edited by me. If you’d like to purchase additional images, you can do so directly through your gallery.

✨ Extra info to know:

  • Additional images shown in your gallery are lightly edited and watermarked for viewing only.

  • These preview images are not permitted for download, screenshot, or sharing in any form unless purchased.

  • Purchased images are fully edited and delivered within 2 weeks.

  • You’ll have 60 days from gallery delivery to purchase any additional images.

  • Don’t worry — I’ll walk you through exactly how to view, select, and purchase images once your gallery is ready.

🍁 A Few Leaves of Wisdom

Arrive early: Being even a few minutes late can cut into your session time. Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early so you’re parked, ready, and relaxed when your time begins — these minis run back-to-back and every minute counts.

Come ready: Outfits on, hair fluffed, faces wiped, layers cozy — the leaves are waiting 🍂

Follow along: I’ll post sneak peeks within 48 hours on Instagram and Facebook, so make sure you’re following along! Tag yourselves and share the love — I adore seeing your favorites pop up in my feed.

Littles welcome: Feel free to bring a favorite toy, snack, or lovey. I also have a little bunny that helps me get those sweet toddler giggles 🐰

🍂 Gallery Delivery

Your gallery will arrive in your inbox within 2 weeks of your session.
You’ll get:

  • A password-protected link to your online gallery

  • A PIN for downloading your included images

  • Access to the professional print lab connected to your gallery — or use your included print release if you prefer to print elsewhere

When your gallery arrives, you’ll notice that some images are lightly edited and watermarked — these are preview-only and not permitted for download, screenshot, or sharing unless purchased.

Your gallery email will walk you through everything — how to view, favorite, and (if you’d like) purchase additional images with just a few clicks.
