Jake+Karly | Grand Rapids Proposal

A few weeks prior to their visit to Grand Rapids, Jake and I connected on Facebook and the details for their special moment started to come together. A bouquet of flowers, a sign containing their favorite saying: I love you more than most, citronella candles and a refreshing drink of Poppi awaited them after the proposal for a short picnic together prior to Karly knowing we were even there! Jake’s attention to detail and his desire to make this special moment in their lives feel like it was made just for them was so cool to witness, and we are over the moon excited for them as they start this next chapter in their lives. We only spent a short time with them on this beautiful May afternoon, but their love and excitement in these photos will stay with me for a long time and my hope is that it does for them as well.
